The IT industry is changing with each passing day. With the different popular technology application every year, the IT certification concerned by people is also changing. Popular IT certification not only means the advantage of the market share of the certification manufacturer, but also means that it is easy for certificate holders to be recognized by the employer and get the opportunity to be employed and promoted. Recently, the information website eWeek reported the “2010 hot IT certification” selected by Dice Learning, a well-known research company in the industry, according to the market situation.

No.1: PMP

PMP (Project Management Professional) is authorized and certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) of the American Project Management Association. Its purpose is to provide unified industry standards for project managers.

No.2: MCSE

MCSE is the Microsoft system engineer certification for network professionals provided by Microsoft.

No.3: CompTIA A +

More than 750,000 IT professionals have obtained CompTIA A + certification. Well known technology companies, such as Lenovo, HP, Dell, Ricoh and CompuCom, require their technical service engineers to obtain CompTIA A + certification. From the recruiter’s point of view, CompTIA A + certificate holders are more favored. In China’s IT certification market, there has been a lack of decent certification projects in the field of PC hardware. CompTIA A + as an entry-level certification for computer service and maintenance engineers just fills this gap.


CCNA certification is the primary certification in the whole Cisco certification system, and many Cisco Qualified Specialists also require candidates to obtain CCNA certification first. CISSP can reflect the level of information system security professionals, and can prove that the certificate holder has the information security knowledge, experience and ability that meet the requirements of the standard.

Security + is an assessment of knowledge in system security, network infrastructure, access control and organizational security. Including IBM, HP, Dell, Intel, Hitachi, Hilton Hotel and other enterprises employ personnel with CompTIA Security + certification.
